3G SOHO Plus belongs to Digicom's Gateway new generation, developed using the latest wireless technologies.
3G SOHO Plus is the ideal solution for High-speed Internet and Voice connections using HSDPA technology (1) at 7.2Mbps and HSUPA at 2 Mbps. (1)
Easy call with 3G SOHO Plus: just connect a traditional phone to the TEL connector to make a call via mobile network, as it were a mobile phone, with a considerable cost saving.
Through the WEB interface you can send and receive SMS. The information of received SMS are displayed.
All the main information about the gateway status are supplied on a 65.000 colors display (for example coverage level, caller ID connection, received SMS, lost calls, date and time).
3G SOHO Plus uses the 54M Wireless LAN technology for the connection to your PC. A LAN Ethernet port is available for the wired connection.
3G SOHO Plus has a full series of options that add high value functions like an FxO analog port or the built-in ADSL Router.
The Mobile eXtension function, performed with the FxO analog port, can remote manage all the calls of your fixed line (or PABX extension) on the mobile phone. So you will be able to answer a call coming to the fixed line with your mobile phone. You will also call from your mobile phone using the fixed line.
Configuration and management of 3G SOHO Plus are carried out via WEB interface, apart from the used operating system.
As for the applications with mobile telecom operators, it is supported the management of TR-069 protocol.
3G SOHO Plus is equipped with a built-in ADSL2/2+ Router. In this way, in case of BACKUP of the ADSL line or for mobile-to-mobile calls (in Least Cost Routing application), the UMTS module can be used.
It has also a backup rechargeable battery in order to have your gateway always operative even when the electric power is down.
The Least Cost Routing mode allows a saving on the telephone bill (2), using the mobile network, instead of the PSTN one, for the mobile-to-mobile calls.
Note 1: The support of HSDPA and HSUPA technologies and their Download/Upload speeds depend on the mobile operator.
Note 2 : The telephone saving depends on the rates plan defined by your operator for the prefixes inserted during the configuration.
